All undergraduate students in France, whatever their field of study, are set to be trained on the challenges of the Ecological Transition for Sustainable Development (TEDS). Supported by “France 2030”, the TEDS project was set in response to this ambition. It is jointly led by UVED and the Learning Planet Institute (LPI), with CY Cergy Paris University (CY) as the coordinator. The project aims to give all undergraduate students and their teachers access to the most reliable resources for understanding the challenges of TEDS.

To this end, one of the main objectives of this project is to combine the UVED resource portal with WeLearn, an Artificial Intelligence tool developed by the LPI and additional high-quality online content collected by this same tool.

In this context, we are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join the TEDS project and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of the AI tool, WeLearn, on TEDS resources. As part of the “Learning Transitions” (LT) research team, the successful candidate will support the team with the following core responsibilities:
* Evaluate WeLearn: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of the WeLearn tool to assess its effectiveness in enhancing teachers' and students' knowledge in the context of the TEDS project.
* Learning Analytics: Utilize learning analytics to gather insights and improve the platform’s educational impact. Focus on data-driven analysis to inform the development and refinement of WeLearn in the context of the TEDS project.
* Research communication: Write scientific articles and publish research findings in reputable journals to disseminate knowledge and contribute to the academic community.
* Instructional material: Contribute to the creation of instructional material, such as booklets, workshops, videos, and other resources, that provide scenarios and guidance on integrating WeLearn into various teaching settings.

The candidate will also contribute to the following tasks:
* User Experience Design: Enhance digital platform literacy among users. Develop strategies to support students and teachers in effectively using WeLearn for teaching and learning about the SDGs.
* Research project proposals: Draft research project proposals to secure funding, outlining research objectives, methodologies, and expected outcomes in alignment with the goals of the WeLearn project.

Qualifications
* Education : Ph.D. in Learning Analytics, Data Science, Education Science, or a related field.
* Experience
** Familiarity with the education sector, ideally with a focus on teacher education and digital learning platforms.
** Experience in participating in multi-stakeholder, distributed research projects
** Publications in peer-reviewed journals
** International talks/lectures
** Knowledge of university procedures and structures
* Skills
** Excellent communication skills in english
** Excellent knowledge of the organization of scientific research: mechanisms, metrics, funding, reporting, and dissemination
** Expertise in learning analytics and its application to educational contexts.
** Familiarity with digital platform literacy and user design.
** Ability to develop instructional materials and provide practical scenarios for educational integration.
** Scientific and technical writing skills, especially for scientific papers and project proposals
** Operational excellence: strong sense of responsibility, organization, prioritization, and adherence to deadlines
** Strong collaboration skills, human values and team spirit
