- Postdoctoral Position 1: Educational Technology
 
 
The postdoctoral fellow will contribute to projects that explore the optimal implementation and combination of features within intelligent tutoring systems and game-based learning environments for literacy instruction. The candidate will be involved in conducting experimental and classroom studies, with tasks including experimental design, system development, data analysis, data mining, personnel management, and participant recruitment.
 
- Postdoctoral Position 2: Natural Language Processing
 
 
The postdoctoral fellow will be working on projects funded by the NSF, NIH, and IES, to develop natural language processing indices and tools, and conduct analyses on data collected from tutoring technologies and corpora collected from various sources. The candidate should have experience in natural language processing techniques. The ideal candidate will also have experience in learning analytics, data mining, and computer science. 
 
- Postdoctoral Position 3: Computer Scientist
 
 
The postdoctoral fellow will be working on projects funded by the IES, ONR, NSF, and NIH, to explore the optimal implementation and combination of features within intelligent tutoring systems and game-based learning environments that support literacy skills. The candidate will be involved in designing new system features, updating and changing existing features, maintaining and updating the web-based systems and their MySQL databases, and pulling data from those databases.
 
 
- Postdoctoral Position 4: Knowledge & Comprehension
 
 
The postdoctoral fellow will work on projects that include studies and analyses that explore the relation between prior knowledge and comprehension, and literacy instruction for adolescents and adult learners. The candidate will participate in designing and conducting laboratory and classroom studies, with tasks including experimental design, materials development, data analysis, data mining, personnel management, and participant recruitment.
