The ITS 2024 conference (https://iis-international.org/its2024-generative-intelligence-and-its/   )    is organizing two workshops around the central topic of  Generative Intelligence and ITS.

W1 :BBGI’24        https://iis-international.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/png2pdf.pdf

The "Breaking Barriers: Generative Intelligence Workshop" delves into the emerging idea of generative intelligence (GI) in artificial intelligence (AI), with a focus on its potential to improve human education and well-being. GI includes AI systems and approaches based on deep and machine learning that generate texts, images, solutions, and surroundings to supplement human intelligence and cognitive capacities. Unlike typical AI approaches, GI aims to maximize human cognitive capacity rather than mimic human behavior. The interdisciplinary symposium brings together professionals from academia, industry, and government to address AI ethics, human-AI interaction, and the societal implications of GI. Participants will learn how to address social concerns and encourage diversity in research and development through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive workshops.

The rapid advancement of technology has catalyzed a profound transformation in higher education (HE), necessitating a paradigm shift in teaching and learning methodologies. As traditional educational models evolve to meet the demands of the digital age, the imperative for HE institutions to embrace innovation and adaptability becomes ever more pressing. The "Back2Basics" workshop serves as a platform for educators, researchers, and industry professionals to come together and engage in dialogue on the challenges and opportunities presented by this digital revolution. By exploring innovative strategies and best practices for integrating digital skills into HE systems, the workshop aims to empower both educators and students to thrive in an increasingly digitalized world. Through collaborative efforts and knowledge-sharing, participants will gain insights into effective approaches for enhancing digital competencies, fostering inclusive learning environments, and preparing students for success in the 21st-century workforce. Join us in this journey of transformation as we navigate the intersections of technology, education, and empowerment in higher education.
